Kiaora koutou. Been a while since I have had a chat on here. I am currently having problems with opening my kids wikispaces. Short of deleting them all and starting again I am not sure how to got into their pages after putting passwords on them. If anyone can help that would be great!!
I used the getting tricky with wikis page and then individual passwords which gave me a code to use to put passwords on but now cant seem to get back into them. Please help if you can that would be much appreciated.

Well it has been another awesome week and speeches were the TICK TICK BOOM!!! So now its reflection time and time to re-record. So what better place to reflect but on their wikispace pages. Awesome to look back on. Next is to choose a U- tube video and put it on their pages. Getting really exciting now. Time to enjoy themselves by finding the right song.
This is my favorite singer and the song is a beauty as well When I grow up I want to sing just like her!!!

Well i am definately getting through the tamariki speeches. Going through U tube can be hard yakkers when the internet decides its on a go slow. N.B Don't try and download when all of the tamariki are on line. Which makes me crave the new cable roll out even more (BRING IT ON!). We will see if they can keep up with all of our kids. We have also started our testing on line Yay E-Asttle. Can't wait to see the results. Should make marking and assessing a little more easier. CROSS YOUR FINGERS AND TOES AND EYES!!!! Well still have a bit of mahi to do with the kids wikispace pages before the end of the term and am totally excited with what I can bring back from ULearn for the new term.

Koka Joy after an ICT session with Papa Kupu

Okay so I had a session with the staff today. Embeding oral language videos into the tamariki pages. Papa Kupu is a very special case and needs a whole session to himself. Had a session with Koka Sammie this week as well and she said to watch out for him because he has some hidden talent. So I am still waiting for these talents to emerge I'm waiting and waiting and w a i t i n g. Ok when they do emerge I will let you know. Koka Lisa and Koka Ihipera are on fire and pumping the mahi through ka pai korua!!!!!
Just a bit of self gratification I have linked our reflection pages to our cluster page. Yeah go me!!!!!!!

Today I taught some of my students how to use cool text to pretty up their pages. Very surprised how well purple and green go together. Check out Joys page. Awesome stuff:)

Just had an awesome ICT PD with Koka Sammie. We have just learnt about I Movie and we now get to play around with this programme. Its an off line programme and we have had a bit of experience on both I Movie HD and I Movie 09. My kids are going to have a blast with this one!!!! Ow and I learnt how to clean up the side bar of this wiki space. Looks awesome now.

Kiaora koutou. OMG have tried to work out how to use voicethread over the last few weeks and KOKA SAMMIE hits it in about 10mins and I got it sussed. Have got some wonderful ideas of how to use this in the tamariki e-portfolios. Mean Koka Sammie you rock!!!!!

Kiaora koutou. Well I had this brilliant idea to put my reflective ICT journal on this page then the tamariki can see what I'm up to. Today I had to fix up a few video links that seemed to have gotten lost. I think Ashleigh went on her page and deleted it. But I have the back up so now thats all fixed up and Antonios page directs back to the Tiwaiwaka page so I have opened another page for him titled 'Antonio L', just until I find out how to delete the other page.
All of the students have their email addresses set up and now they just need to accept our invite onto this wiki. So far Hiwirori, Joy, Tiare and Ashleigh are connected and have all been on their pages to have a look and a bit of a tutu. Learning Intentions and Success Criteria are on all pages. (thats one of my goals done) :) :) :)
I am hoping to start lunch time sessions on the computers some time this week. Will let you know what happens as soon as it does.

Well what an awesome day most of my kids have been on their wikispace pages to type their reflective work on their Eco Hut mahi. Had some awesome writings on their pages but I still think that they need work on editing. One of my computers isn't working properly and wouldn't let the kids edit their wikispace. But we have sorted it out on the other computers. Looking forward to getting all of the kids on by tommorrow.
